Amy Powell, MA
- Licensed Marriage Family Therapist
I know how exhausting and upsetting it can feel to be stuck in a place of tension and discord in your own family. I also know how scary it can be when your child is struggling in her life and you don't know what else to do. I am delighted you have found me because I would love to help. Over the past 12 years of practicing as a therapist, I have found that my passion is working with kids and teens and helping them feel happier in their lives and in their families.
I help my clients decrease symptoms of anxiety or depression and work through feelings of anger and grief so that they can feel happier in their lives and happier with their families. My goal is to help families talk and share more, respect one another, and enjoy spending time together. I want home to be the place where we want to be…where we can laugh, work together as a team, support each other, and just be ourselves.
I look forward to meeting you and your family and supporting you on this journey of bringing peace and connection back into your home. I want to hear more about your situation and see how I can help. Give me a call at 408-369-9800 or email me at info@amypowellmft.com so we can get started today. You may also visit http://www.amypowellmft.com for more information or to schedule an appointment.
